Diapers aren't that popular here in Shanghai. Instead it's very common to see babies & toddlers wearing what they call split pants. If the baby has to go, s/he just squats wherever s/he is. I wonder if they make them in adult sizes too.

In my HOA, you would have to follow your kid around and pick up his poop.
That's kind of disgusting..no! It IS disgusting. Do the parents of these children "pooper-scoop" after them or just leave the excrement laying around the streets of china? Brings new meaning to "It's getting deep around here, better wear my boots!".
So. Is this environmentally friendly? Think so! Can't imagine even the enviros getting behind it here though...
ummm, do the parents clean up what the kids drop???
The parents do clean up after their kids - just like any good pet owner should ;)
