Too Positive?

My blogger friend Joe said that the new title of my blog "Mid-Life Awakening" is too positive (The old title was "Mid-Life Crisis"). But I like the more positive title. It feels better. I even used it in this post, one of the first posts on this blog.

    And "Crisis" isn't too negative.

    American culture seems to be one of extreme superlatives. "I love pizza", "I hate waking up in the morning", "what a disaster".

    Crisis implies critical. For one to say that his emotional state is critical is an over exaggeration and is too negative.
